In just a few weeks OnePlus will take the wraps off of their latest flagship device, the OnePlus 5. Usually, before the device gets unveiled, there a numerous leaks which come from anonymous tipsters. Sometimes, those leaks accidentally come from the company themselves. The latter is the case this time, with the the OnePlus 5 wallpapers showing up in the OnePlus Launcher.
One OnePlus forum goer did some digging within the OnePlus Launcher and found a few wallpapers that appeared in the latest update. There are a total of 7 OnePlus 5 wallpapers that were found in the launcher, all with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. This might confirm that OnePlus isn’t upping the resolution on their next flagship device to QHD.

OnePlus is a company known for purposefully building hype by releasing info bit by bit, so this could be a ploy by the Chinese company to stay in the news. Regardless, it is good to know that the OnePlus 5 will only come with a FHD resolution in case you’re looking into different phone options.
What we do know about the OnePlus 5, is that it will come with the Snapdragon 835 processor, have a thinner footprint than its predecessor, and come with dual cameras. The OnePlus 5 is expected to be debuted before the end of June.
