HTC knows they have an excellent phone on their hands and they know exactly how to tease us. A few days ago, HTC posted their first official U11 Plus teaser, which showed the back of the device. The interesting part was that it seemed to include a wireless charging coil in teaser. Today, HTC has given us our first official look at the front of the U11 Plus.

The HTC U11 Plus has been expected to feature an 18:9 display, but now HTC has confirmed it. We only see the bottom corner of the device,, but the display nearly goes to the bottom edge of the device. It is starting to look like the bezels on the U11 successor will rival the Galaxy S8 and LG V30. This will be a huge step for HTC because it will be their first “bezel-less” phone.

The most interesting part of the U11 Plus is the fact that it will fit in nearly the same footprint of the U11. The U11+ will have dimensions of 158.5 x 74.9 x 8.5 mm compared to 153.9 x 75.9 x 7.9 mm of the U11. The device will be slightly thicker and taller, but less wide. The device is expected to have a similar build as well.

The HTC U11 Plus is expected to come with IP68 certification and wireless charging, both an upgrade from the U11. It will also be running a new version of HTC Sense based on Android 8.0 Oreo. The device will be unveiled on November 2, but a release date is not yet known. The U11 Plus could come in at a $750 price point.
