We first wrote about the HTC U11 Plus nearly a month ago, when the device was first rumored to launch in November. Not much has been known about the upcoming U11 Plus other than the previous rumors having it featuring a 6 inch 18:9 display. Now, thanks to a listing on GFXBench, we have some confirmation on what the device will come with.

According to the GFXBench listing, the HTC U11 Plus will run Android 8.0 out of the box with a new version of HTC Sense. The 2.4GHz octa core processor hints that it will use the Snapdragon 835 backed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of on-board storage. If the U11 is any indication, the U11 Plus should also include support for microSD cards.

HTC U11 Plus Specs

According to renowned HTC leaker LlabTooFeR, the device will come in very similar form factor as the HTC U11. That bodes well to match the IP67 certification and guarantees the device will feature a near bezel-less design. It will definitely update HTC’s design to 2017. He also claimed that it will pack a massive 4000mAh battery, substantially larger than the U11’s 3000mAh cell.

Until November 2nd, this is all the information we have to go from. What would you like to be included in this new HTC phone? Drop a comment below with your response!
