The HTC U11 was a highly praised device in the Android community. Aside from its outdated design, it features some of the best specs and build quality of any phone of 2017. According to the latest from renowned HTC leaker LlabTooFeR, it might be the first flagship Android device of 2017 to get Android Oreo.
One of the reasons HTC devices are so popular is that the HTC Sense UI is very close to stock Android. This allows HTC to update its devices faster than most manufacturers. It has been only two months since Android Oreo was released, but HTC is in the final stages of development for the HTC U11 update.
The expected ETA for the Oreo update is November to early December. This makes sense, as HTC is set to debut the HTC U11 Plus on November 2, which is expected to come with Android Oreo on-board. The two devices are expected to be very similar, aside from the screen size and ratio.
