The past few days HTC image leaks about the HTC One M9 (Hima) have been flooding the internet. We have seen images of an alleged prototype as well as images from a case manufacturers press renders. Today, NoWhereElse has brought us some more image leaks of an HTC device, but this one is a little bigger.

Today, Steve Hemmerstoffer, Senior Editor of NoWhereElse has brought us a device that looks very different from aa normal HTC device. First and foremost, the home button looks like something from a Samsung phone. While it is expected to have a fingerprint scanner, I couldn’t imagine HTC would radically alter its approach with a physical home button. This could be a prototype device, which could explain it, but it’s highly unlikely.

Hima Plus 3 The back of the device follows the oddity of the home button. What you see is a massive camera on the back of the device. It doesn’t follow the design of the One M9 leaked images, but like I stated earlier, they both could be prototypes. It just seems very odd that these two devices would look so different. Although, the reasoning for the home button could be to house the fingerprint scanner.

One consistent factor between the 5 inch One M9 leaked images and the 5.5 inch One M9 Plus images are that the lock button and volume rockers both reside on the same spot. They both have the new relocated positions on the right side of the device.

Another interesting part of these leaks are that this unidentified device will feature a fingerprint scanner. In the image shown above, there is a new toggle in the notification shade. This looks like it could be the most-reliable part in this whole succession of leaks, unless someone is very good at photoshopping. The original One M9 was rumored to have a fingerprint scanner, but it was since passed up.
