We are just a couple days away from the official unveiling of the HTC U11 Plus and we know a good amount about the device. We know what it looks like thanks to teasers and we know what specs to expect. Although we haven’t seen official renders of the device, there’s a new hands on video with the U11+ floating around.
A user on Reddit has shared a link to a Facebook page called Blick Digital, but it seems the video has since been taken down. We are able to download the video before it was taken down for good. Not only does the video show off the U11 Plus, but it shows off the rumored translucent model. This was first hinted at by Evan Blass, but now it is confirmed.
The video, which can be seen below, gives a pretty good look at the unannounced device. The video is in German, so we don’t know exactly what he is saying, but he does a good job showing off the device’s new features. From the looks of it, the HTC U11 Plus will come with an edge navigation, similar to that on the Galaxy lineup. It also seems like you can now customize the navigation bar on the device.
The device is expected to ship with Android 8.0 Oreo and run the latest version of HTC Sense. With the new update, the U11 Plus gains a Pixel-esque launcher, which opens with gestures. The user can also swipe down on the homescreen to bring down the notification panel.
The HTC U11 Plus (stylized as U11+), is expected to be unveiled on November 2 alongside the mid-ranged U11 Life. The device will come with the Snapdragon 835 processor, a 6 inch 18:9 Super LCD5 QHD display, and a massive 3930mAh battery. More leaks will surely come in the next few days, so keep an eye out.
