Yesterday, Samsung suffered a massive leak regarding the Galaxy S6. Not only was the device captured on camera, but it was shown off at all angles. The leaked images lined up with what previous images and leaks suggested, but the Galaxy S6 Edge was no where to be found.
Today, a user on the XDA forums posted images of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge side-by-side with both the front and backs of the devices photographed. They look identical to the ones spotted yesterday, aside form the Galaxy S6 Edge’s dual sloping sides.
The Galaxy S6 Edge is definitely less-sloped than its edged predecessor, the Note Edge. Earlier it was rumored that the edge would be 30 to 50 percent less sloped; now that seems true. Along with the edges being less steep, they will also be less functional.
According to Business Korea, the edges on the Galaxy S6 Edge will also be less functional. It is unknown if the edges will have swipe-able panels like the Note Edge, but it seems unlikely according to their source. The impact of the edges was lessened to be able to produce more devices. The Galaxy S6 is expected to provide form over function.
Now that we have a good look at both the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, are you leaning towards getting either, or has their design turned you away? Let us know!
