Galaxy Note 5 leaks once again, view-able at all angles

Our feed has been exploding with Galaxy Note 5 leaks, and it definitely doesn’t seem like it will slow down anytime soon. We are now just four days away from Samsung’s Unpacked event, so if anything, leaks will become more prevalent leading up to the presser. Today’s images of the Note 5, courtesy of a Reddit user, show off the entire device in very high quality images.

It only makes sense that the Note 5 gets leaked in full, as just yesterday we posted up the device’s upcoming retail packaging. The latest images show off the Note 4 successor at all angles, and it definitely looks like a larger Galaxy S6. The button placement is the same as the S6 as well; power is on the right side of the device with the volume rockers on the left side.

The left and right edge on the back of the device curve down to the chassis, similar to that of the front of the Galaxy S6 edge. I can tell you from holding my S6 edge upside-down, it feels comfortable, so that was a good move by Samsung. Looking a the top and bottom edge of the device, it seems a lot thicker than the S6. That could be to house the larger, rumored 4,100 mAh battery.

The SIM card tray is found on the top of the device, just like the S6 edge. The Galaxy S6 has the SIM card tray on the side of the device. On the bottom of the device, we get our first look at the spring-loaded S-Pen, which is essentially a push-to-eject feature. Other than that, there is the headphone jack and charging port (not USB Type-C) on the bottom as well.

Note 5 compared to iPhone 6 Plus

The leaker even posed the Galaxy Note 5 next to its strongest competitor, the iPhone 6 Plus. It is unknown why all these images were taken next to Apple products, but I would guess that the images are coming from a Best Buy. The table scheme matches Best Buy’s and the person in the image is wearing a blue shirt. That’s just my speculation.

To recap, the Note 5 will come with a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED QHD display powered by the Exynos 7420 (7422 is less-probable) and 4 GB of RAM. It will be one of the first Samsung devices, alongside the S6 edge+ to have 4 GB of RAM. It will also have a 16 megapixel rear-facing camera coupled with a 5 megapixel front-facing camera, both with OIS. It is assumed to come in three storage variants, 32/64/128 GB. Of course, the device will be running Android 5.1.1 and TouchWiz atop of it.
