Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ leak out

We knew this day was on the horizon, once more and more information started to leak out about the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+. First we saw renders of the devices through case manufacturers. Then, the Note 5’s S-Pen and also the S6 edge+’s dummy unit in leaked photos, so it was only a matter of time until the full devices were shown off. Today, courtesy of Mobile Fun, we have our first true images of both the devices.

The newly leaked images of the Note 5 and S6 edge+ show off the front of the devices, showing them booting up, and a few other images of the devices being powered on. The Note 5 looks just as we expected, a Note device with many design cues from the Galaxy S6/S6 edge. It does seem like it has slimmer side bezels, but it could just be the imagery. The S6 edge+ looks like an enlarged S6 edge, so there isn’t much else to distinguish.

The Note 5 is expected to ship with a Exynos 7422 processor whereas the S6 edge+ will stick with the Exynos 7420 processor. Both devices will include the 16 megapixel rear-facing camera alongside a 5 megapixel front-facing camera. The Note 5 is expected to ship with 4 GB of RAM whereas the S6 edge+ will stick with 3 GB of RAM. An interesting thing to note, the Note 5 is rumored to include a microSD card slot. We’ll have to wait for confirmation, but it is good news.

Now keep in mind, these could be manufactured images, so just remember that come August 12th when both these devices are debuted. Once the devices are debuted, it is expected that the devices will see a limited release on August 21st to select areas, but it is unknown where.
