One of the highest rated Android-powered smartphones to-date, the HTC One (M8), may soon have its successor. Reports of the HTC One (M9) are swirling around and we have the latest to give you an update.
A Chinese site called MyDrivers has obtained reported specs of the upcoming HTC flagship, the M9. They report that the device will sport a 5.5 inch QHD display (1440 x 2560), 3 GB of RAM, a 2.7 GHz Snapdragon 805 processor, a 16 megapixel camera with OIS, and 64/128 GB variants with expandable storage via a microSD card slot.
A few interesting things to note about these leaks is that HTC will go with a 16 megapixel camera instead of their ultrapixel cameras that have been seen on previous iterations of the device. It seems HTC is finally stepping away from that.
The device will feature Bose audio as well to combat the loss of Beats by Dre. Beats was recently bought by Apple so it is expected that HTC would find a new partner.
What do you think of these specs; is this the next device you’ll wait out for? Let us know!
