OnePlus X price outed via leaked poster

We are now only a few days away from the official unveiling of OnePlus’s third device, which is slated to be released in the coming months. The OnePlus X has already seen a fair number of leaks and it doesn’t seem like it will stop anytime soon. The latest leak comes courtesy of Weibo and shows off the device on a teaser poster.

OnePlus X Poster

According to the leaked poster, the OnePlus X will cost 1699¥(Yuan), which is roughly equivalent to around $269 USD. It has long been expected that the X would be cheaper than both the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2, so this leak holds water. On top of that, the image of the X looks just like the ones that were leaked from TENAA.

To give a refresher, for a sub-$300 device you’ll get a metal and glass construction and a 5 inch full HD display powered by an underclocked Snapdragon 801 processor. The clock speed has been reduced from 2.5 GHz to 2.0 GHz, most likely to help the 2,450 mAh battery. The OnePlus X will be running 3 GB of RAM coupled with 16/32 GB storage options. The device is expected to have NFC and sport the same 13 megapixel camera found on the OnePlus 2.

Keep an eye out in the coming days as leaks are almost assured to keep coming ahead of October 29th, when the OnePlus X will debuted to the public.
