Nearly a week ago, the very first image of the LG Nexus 5 (2015) was spotted online. Now that Android M’s name is official (Marshmallow), we are closing in on the typical Nexus release date of October. The latest leak comes from OPPOMART which shows off the device within a silicon case.
The images affirm what we’ve seen on the last leak: the device will have a halo-type fingerprint sensor. On top of that, LG’s laser auto focus and a dual-LED flash. The listing doesn’t give much information, aside from the listing being titledĀ Protective Silicon Skin Case For LG Nexus 5 (2015).
We do get a good glimpse a the front of the device for the first time. It shows off what the dual front-facing speakers of the device could look like. It is one of the more heavily weighted rumors, so keep an eye on this.
The LG Nexus (2015) is expected to ship with a 5.2 inch 1080p display, 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM, the Snapdragon 620, and a 3,180 mAh battery. Not much else is known, but expect some more news in the coming weeks. Depending on when Android 6.0 Marshmallow is made official and released, we won’t see this device until then.
