Facebook has recently added lockscreen notifications to their Android application, similar to those coming on the upcoming Android 4.5 or 5.0 update.
Android L, or Lollipop as some suspect, will be released later this year and is the biggest overhaul of Android to date. One of the most anticipated features Android L is bringing to the next update is lockscreen notifications, similar to those on iOS. Facebook has seemingly gotten a jump on things and they have implemented their own lockscreen notifications. You either swipe to dismiss or tap, unlock, and it takes you straight to Facebook.
