Alleged Razer Phone leaks, shows dual cameras, boxy design

The Razer Phone has been kept under wraps pretty well, until recently. Just the other the day, Razer announced when they would debut their first Android phone. It also happened to show up on GFXBench, showing off its power. Today, we may have our first look at the upcoming gaming-tailored Android phone.

Razer Phone leak

The leak comes from the Slovakian outfit TECHBYTE, and shows off an interesting design. The Razer Phone seems reminiscent of the Nextbit Robin with it’s very boxy design. That probably isn’t a coincidence since Razer scooped up the Android phone maker earlier this year. The device also sports dual cameras, one of which we know is a 12 megapixel shooter, but we do not know about the secondary.

Since it is a Razer product, of course the device sports a large Razer logo on the back. The picture isn’t the highest quality, but it seems that the back is not glass or metal. On the right side of the device, there are two small buttons. These could be the volume buttons, but we do not know at this point.

We do know that the device will be unveiled on November 1 via a livestream from Razer. It is expected to come with a 5.7 QHD 16:9 display, but LCD or AMOLED is unknown at this point. Powering the device will be the Snapdragon 835 processor and 8GB of RAM. The device will be running Android 7.1.1 “Razer Edition”.
