The past few weeks, Galaxy S5 users on both Sprint and Verizon networks have seen their devices get the long-awaited Android Lollipop update. What was missing out, was T-Mobile.Well, the day has finally come for T-Mobile Galaxy S5 users, and the Android 5.0 Lollipop update is here.

One of our readers was generous enough to send us this screenshot, to enlighten us of the update. The Android Lollipop update, which is nearly a gigabyte (939.59 MB), brings much-anticipated features such as new transitions, animations, and the new ART run-time. Along with those features, the Galaxy S5 does see a great performance boost as well as battery life.

Samsung’s TouchWiz UI has also seen a drastic overhaul to account for the Lollipop update. That includes new notifications, Material colors, and a new recent apps menu.
