As of late, smartphone manufacturers have been finding every way to invade the market and be successful. The term ‘selfie’ has made it big and has officially been added to the Oxford Dictionary in August of 2013. With an estimated 1 million selfies taken a day, according to the USA Today,
It seems as if every smartphone manufacturer is taking a shot at the ‘selfie’ market. Some of those include Sony with the Xperia C3 and Nokia with the Lumia 730. Both of which feature a front-facing 5 megapixel shooter.
A new leak shows that Samsung is now entering the ‘selfie’ smartphone ring, with the Galaxy Grand Prime. The Grand Prime won’t have specs to write home about, but it will be more than sufficient enough to get your selfie taken. The Grand Prime will sport a Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB of RAM, and a 5 inch 720p screen. This phone is expected to be released in Vietnam and other Asian markets.
