Earlier today, Android Police provided us our very first look at the upcoming Pixel XL 2. Although we only got one look at the device, Benjamin Geskin has provided us new renders to better show the device front and back. Not only that, but he also provided a few possible color options and a size comparison to last year’s Pixel devices.
Above you can see that the Pixel XL 2 fits in between the 5 inch and 5.5 inch Pixel devices. It is narrower than the XL, but taller than both devices. That is due to the 6 inch 2:1 display. This will make the device much more manageable to hold, but still retain the same screen real-estate.
Very Silver and Really Blue

As for now, Benjamin Geskin has created renders for a Really Blue and Quite Silver Pixel XL 2. Now that the renders are straight on, versus an angle, it really gives us a good idea of the overall design. The larger camera and wider ear-piece speaker stick out the most. According to David Ruddock of Android Police, Google is considering some interesting colors for the newest Pixel devices. That means there could be more interesting options come late-2017.
What are your thoughts on the latest Pixel leaks/renders? Does it make you want to buy one or are the LG G6/Galaxy S8 better options? Let us know in the comments!
