The OnePlus One has been up for sale for over seven months now, but it still quite difficult to obtain. The main way to purchase a OnePlus One has always been through an invite system, with more and more invites going out monthly. Today, OnePlus announced that the OnePlus One will be available to purchase every Tuesday from now on.
Every Tuesday, OnePlus will open up sales for the One for 24 hours starting at 12:00 am Pacific time (8:00 am London time). Both the 16 GB Silk White and 64 GB Sandstone Black models will be available for purchase, with no invite.
Although the device will be available every Tuesday starting at midnight Pacific time, that doesn’t mean the invite system will go away. For the other six days of the week (Wed-Mon), the invite system will still be used. That means if you have an invite, you can use it whenever you want. Users will still be able to receive and share invites.
Remember, the OnePlus One will also be available for sale starting to tomorrow on Amazon India without an invite.
