Moto X (2013) undergoing Android Lollipop soak test

0

The Motorola Moto X (2013) variant was expected to get Android Lollipop some time ago. Unfortunately, it has been left out. We have seen the Moto X (2014) version get it along with multiple other Motorola devices. Well, the good news coming for Luciano Carvalho off Google+ is that the original Moto X is now entering an Android Lollipop soak test.

According to Carvalho, the Moto X (2013) Android Lollipop soak test was supposed to be a secret, but it didn’t last long. Screenshots and articles have outed it already, so what’s the point in denying the truth. Android 5.0.2 is being sent OTA for a select number of devices, probably under 5% of devices. Volunteers for the soak test are being selected at random, so hope for the best if you are waiting.

One thing worth noting is that as of now, Android 5.1 is not on the original Moto X’s radar. Nothing is planned as of now, but follow Luciano Carvalho on Google+ and he’ll be sure to let us know.
