We have seen many purported leaks on the iPhone 8, but this takes it to a whole new level. Case manufacturer Olixar affirms that this is officially the iPhone 8 design. Olixar is so positive that this is the final design they are putting their products up for pre-order.
The iPhone 8 is nearly bezel-less
We are nearly 3 months away from an expected iPhone 8 debut, but that didn’t stop Olixar. They got the “jump” on other case manufacturers. If this is truly the iPhone 8 design, it will be one popular device. The renders show off a device with nearly no bezels, aside from the top of the device. There is a cut out in the top of the display for the front-facing camera and ear piece. This is something we’ve seen quite frequently.
The cases, which can be seen on Mobile Fun’s website, don’t show any dimensions, but the design is all we’re after. Judging from the cases, Touch ID will be embedded into the display. This feature has been rumored on and off, but seems to be sticking. The big design change seemingly confirmed is the orientation of the dual cameras. They will be vertical instead of horizontal like the iPhone 7 Plus.
If this is the design of the upcoming iPhone, it will definitely give Samsung and LG a run for their money. The iPhone 8 is expected to be announced in September.
