iPhone 6 to keep the ‘6’ namesake

0

New details regarding the new iPhone have come up again. This time, it is going against what was released yesterday. Earlier yesterday, we had reported that the iPhone 6 wasn’t going to be called the iPhone 6. The new iPhones were to receive the names of ‘Air’ and ‘Air X’, depending on the size of the device. The 5.5 inch model would have the ‘X’ in the name.

Rumors are in full swing, and sometimes they are hit or miss. The latest rumors on the newest iPhone is that it will indeed be called  the iPhone 6, with the larger of the two being called the iPhone 6L. Early Thursday, it was reported that Apple executives weren’t going to go with the ‘6’. This would have been the first iPhone to not follow the numerical namesake.
