The HTC One M9 has been leaking continually for the past few weeks. Whether they were the images seen from a case manufacturer or the decoy units that spread like wildfire. Today, we get our best look at what to expect from the upcoming HTC device courtesy of a familiar face.
In a tweet posted Today, evleaks tweeted “Old habits die hard” with a lineup of devices. The devices, were all HTC smartphones that he leaked with a new addition. On the farthest right was a few renders of what could be the HTC One M9 and HTC One M9 Plus.
The images seem to match up exactly with what was previously reported by HTC Source. Everything from the lack of black bar on the One M9, to the newly designed speaker grilles at the top and bottom edges on both devices. What’s surprising in addition to the One M9, the One M9 Plus definitely seems like it is coming our way.
The One M9 Plus features the same design with a larger display, but retains the black bar that houses the HTC logo. The reasoning for retaining the black bar on the Plus variant is directly related to the addition of a fingerprint sensor. It was originally reported that this sensor would be a home button as well, but upleaks shot down that rumor today.
What are your thoughts on the HTC One M9? Do these renders entice you enough to pick one up this March? I know I’m highly considering it.
