We are already less than a month away from Samsung’s Unpacked 2016 event so the Galaxy S7 leaks and rumors have only picked up steam. We have heard multiple times what the specs will be on the Galaxy S7 from the likes of @evleaks, but now we have someone to back up his claims. The latest to come out of Korea is that an actual Samsung employee confirmed all of the previous leaks.
Now there is no way to confirm or deny this Samsung employee’s remarks, but it seems rather convincing. First off, the employee says that all of the Galaxy S7 models will feature black chassis, instead of the silver we’ve seen on previous models. The employee also stated that the S7 will use a 12 megapixel camera in place of the previous 16 megapixel found on last year’s models. Mainly because the the camera will feature a massive ƒ1.7 aperture.
Since the device will have a smaller camera, it is expected that the camera will be flush with the back of the device so there will be no protruding camera as seen in year’s past. The employee also confirmed that the devices will indeed by IP67 water and dust resistant along with having a microSD card slot.
With more and more leaks coming out on the Galaxy S7, it seems like this is the device Samsung fans have hoped for, myself included. If Samsung looks to improve upon their standing with Android fans, they seem like they are in the right direction.
