Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy S6 edge Iron Man edition after many rumors and leaked images were running rampant on the internet. Samsung has partnered up with Marvel to bring an Avenger’s themed device to the world. Samsung official’s had the following to say:
We are excited to be able to offer our world-class Galaxy S6 edge smartphone designed especially for Iron Man fans through our continued collaboration with Marvel,” said Younghee Lee, Executive Vice President of Global Marketing, IT & Mobile Division at Samsung Electronics. “The limited edition Iron Man Galaxy S6 edge embodies the power of the iconic Avenger with a dual-curved edge design and advanced features that will provide Marvel fans with the ultimate entertainment experience.
The Galaxy S6 edge Iron Man edition is only available in vibrant red (for obvious reasons) and with 64 GB of on-board storage. What makes the device so desirable, aside from the killer looking phone, is the package it comes in. Inside the box, which is themed, is a Iron Man themed wireless charger, clear case, and the device is pre-skinned with the Marvel Avengers Iron man theme.
Unfortunately, the device will only be available outside for North America. Currently, the Galaxy S6 edge Iron Man edition is slated for a May 27th release date for South Korea with China and Hong Kong following up in June.
