Motorola’s highest end smartphone, the DROID Turbo, has been missing out lately. For whatever reason, it’s Android Lollipop update has continually been delayed. While DROID Turbo users have been patiently waiting, users with lesser models are already running Android 5.1, but that will change. According to Motorola’s latest tweet, the DROID Turbo Lollipop update is on the way.
It has been a long time coming, but Verizon’s DROID Turbo will soon start to receive what is assumed to be the Android 5.1 update. Originally, it was expected to receive Lollipop a few months back, but Motorola decided to hold off and just jump straight to Android 5.1. It is unknown if it was issues with the Verizon collaborating on the update, but that aside, it’s here. DROID Turbo users will jump from Android 4.4.4 KitKat to Android 5.1 Lollipop
If you are a DROID Turbo user, be sure to keep checking that update button throughout the next few days. You can do so by going to Settings > About phone > Check for update. Let us know if you have been greeted with some sweetness!
