The OnePlus Weather app is the most recent OxygenOS application to find its way to the Google Play Store. A couple of weeks ago, the OnePlus Launcher appeared on the Play Store, but was pulled shortly after. OnePlus Weather now joins OnePlus Community and OnePlus Gallery on the Play Store.
The OnePlus Weather app is a very minimalistic and features dynamic weather animations. It also features multi-city management, so you can save your favorite locations. The weather forecasts are provided by AccuWeather, so you know they come from a reliable, reputable source.
Adding applications to the Google Play Store from OEMs is nothing new, as it gives the phone manufacturer an easy way to update the app. Previously, OnePlus would have to wait to roll-out the app update within a new build of OxygenOS. This will be both beneficial to users and OnePlus. Unfortunately, this app is only compatible with OnePlus devices.
