A lot is riding on the coming Galaxy Note 8. Not only is it expected to be the first Samsung flagship device to sport dual cameras, but it is the first Note device after the disaster of the Note 7. We have high expectations and it looks like they have been met, at least design wise in the latest case renders. A new look at the Galaxy Note 8 has surfaced via Mobile Fun.
Galaxy Note 8 won’t have an embedded fingerprint sensor
The renders only show off the device at one angle, but we can get a good idea of what to expect from these shots. The main topic is the fingerprint sensor placement. Rumors have suggested Samsung would embed it within the display, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. It seems Samsung couldn’t quite nail it down, so it resides on the back of the device again.
The leaked render also points at the device having two separate buttons for the volume rockers. This is different than what came on the Galaxy S8 and S8+. Those devices had a single volume rocker rather than buttons. One would thing it will be difficult to tell the difference between the volume buttons and Bixby button. The bad news is the Bixby button doesn’t seem to be going anywhere.
Other than the design, the Galaxy Note 8 is expected to come with the Snapdragon 835 processor and 4 GB of RAM. Powering the device will be a smaller 3,300 mAh battery. The device is expected to be debuted sometime in late August.
