Samsung’s next generation of foldables and smartwatches may be one step closer to launch.
As spotted by Android Authority, several unreleased Samsung devices have recently appeared in filings with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), offering another sign that the company’s upcoming hardware lineup is nearing an official announcement.
The FCC listings reportedly reference the following devices:
- SM-F776U: Galaxy Z Flip 8.
- SM-F976U: Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra (taking the place of the Galaxy Z Fold 7)
- SM-L340 and SM-L345: 40mm Galaxy Watch 9 (Wi-Fi/cellular variants)
- SM-L350 and SM-L355: 44mm Galaxy Watch 9 (Wi-Fi/cellular variants)
- SM-L715: Galaxy Watch Ultra 2
While FCC certifications rarely reveal major specifications, they often confirm that a device is progressing through the final regulatory steps required before release.
According to Android Authority’s findings, the filings include details related to wireless connectivity and charging capabilities. Some of the documents also reference Samsung’s ecosystem accessories, further supporting expectations that these products are approaching launch.
Samsung is expected to unveil its next generation of foldables and wearables during a Galaxy Unpacked event rumored to take place on July 22. While Samsung has not officially confirmed the date, multiple reports have pointed to a late-July launch window for the company’s upcoming devices.
With FCC certifications now appearing and regulatory approvals continuing to surface, Samsung’s next Galaxy hardware announcement appears to be drawing closer.
