We are under a week away from HTC’s launch of their so-called ‘Hero’ device, so that means leaks, leaks, and oh yeah, did we mention leaks? We’ve heard the specs, seen dummy units, and even seen some of the One A9’s stock wallpaper. Today, thanks to the French carrier Orange, we have a few unofficial press renders of the One A9.
While they do show off some new images, it doesn’t give us too much information that we didn’t already know. The two devices pictured are actually Carbon Gray and Opal Silver according to LlabTooFeR and @evleaks. The French carrier has them listed as ‘gris acier’ and ‘Argent’. Those actually translate to ‘steel gray’ and ‘Money’.
Orange also does list a price, which is €599. Since European prices include taxes, usually devices in the United States run around the same. Don’t be surprised if you see the One A9 being advertised for $599 off contract.
Other than that, we know the HTC One A9 will come with a 5 inch 1080p display, rumored to have a Snapdragon 617 processor, 2 GB of RAM, and a adequate 2,150 mAh battery. Rounding out the specs are a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 4 UltraPixel front-facing camera. On top of it all, it is expected to ship out with Android 6.0 Marshmallow running the show.
The latest HTC device will be debuted on October 20th, so we’ll be sure to keep you updated on the leaks.
