Galaxy Note Edge replacement ‘Project Zen’ spotted on HTML5 Test

Galaxy Note Edge Project Zen

Just the other day, we posted some news surrounding the upcoming Galaxy Note 5 and some other details regarding its dual-edged counterpart. The dual-edge variation of Galaxy Note 5 and successor to the Galaxy Note Edge is rumored to have the codename ‘Project Zen’. Earlier today, remnants of what could be Project Zen was found on HTML5 Test.

The Galaxy Note Edge dubbed ‘Project Zero’ was running Samsung Browser v3.2, which is two versions higher than the current Galaxy S6’s browser v3.0. On top of that, the device with the alias ‘ZenZero’ on HTML5 Test is running the latest version of Android which is 5.1.1.

To give a quick refresher if you missed out, Project Zen is expected to come with a 5.4 or 5.5 inch QHD Super AMOLED display, a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, being backed by 16 GB of storage. Of course, the device will have the dual-edge display and feature Samsung’s top-of-the-line 16 megapixel rear-facing camera with OIS flanked by an 8 megapixel front-facing camera.

Now, this could easily be Samsung testing and fine-tuning their latest dual-edged phone, or it could just as easily be faked. Like all leaks, nothing is final until the phone is actually released.
