Good news for HTC users… well at least those of you that are sporting an HTC One M8 Developer Edition or an unlocked model. The long-awaited Android 5.0 Lollipop has started to rollout to those devices. The update was announced by HTC’s Vice President of Product Management and it comes in at a hefty 584.83 MB, so get your storage ready!
Now that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update is rolling out to HTC One M8 devices that are un-branded by carriers, it means that HTC has completed their tweaking of the newest Android OS. That leaves the rest up to carriers and when they want to add their touches to the OTA. It will most likely start in February, but it could start earlier, so keep checking your updates regularly!
