Galaxy S6 concept

Samsung has vowed to start from scratch on their next design of their most popular ‘S’ series and that started with the Galaxy S6 being codenamed ‘Project Zero’. The S6 is expected to have the best specs and best design of any of its predecessors coming with a rumored metal unibody at the most, or metal chassis at the least. We saw Samsung do this to the Galaxy Alpha and Galaxy Note 4, so we expect them to continue the trend on the S6.

Although Samsung has started production on 4 GB mobile RAM, it will most likely see a debut on the Note 4, not the S6. An ‘S’ has never seen more than 2 GB of RAM, so expect it to get bumped up to the 3 GB threshold.  Along with more RAM, the device will sport an AMOLED QHD display, like the one seen on the Galaxy Note 4. While it is rumored that the device will have a 5.5 inch screen, it’s highly unlikely due to the fact that it would be in direct competition with the Note 4. The expected specs can be seen below.
