Moto 360 successor leaked in product render; includes a completely round display

Just over a year ago, Motorola made waves throughout the mobile tech community with the debut of the first round smartwatch. Although the Moto 360 was round in structure, the display had a flat part on the bottom to house the display drivers and ambient light sensor.

A new leak today, suggests that the successor to the Moto 360 will have a completely round display, with no flat black bar at the bottom. If the leaked product render holds true, the device’s display will have a higher resolution as well.

The original Moto 360 had a resolution of 320 x 290, whereas the successor is expected to have a 360 x 360 display. It is unknown if the device will have the same size display as the original 360, which was 1.65 inches, but we can assume so.

It definitely seems as if Motorola is aiming to step up their game this year, and these leaks look promising. The Moto 360 was a beautifully crafted smartwatch and it can only get better from here.

What are your thoughts on the newly leaked renders? I think it’s the perfect update to an already great device that I use daily.
